Please note that you do not need to wait for acceptance from your preferred universities before submitting your application to the EUMaster4HPC programme. However, admission to the EUMaster4HPC programme is conditional upon being accepted by at least one of the awarding universities. Be sure to check the application deadlines for each university you select, as they may vary. You must strictly comply with these deadlines.
The EUMaster4HPC selection committee will inform you of the outcome of your application via email within eight weeks of submitting your complete application.
In Step 3 of the application form, you will need to select and rank your top three preferred universities. Please review the following information before ranking your choices:
Please be aware that while your choices will be considered, they may not be granted. The selection committee may also offer an alternative pathway based on availability and programme requirements.
Please note that any document written in a language other than English must be accompanied by a certified translation in English.
The scholarships previously offered by the project to the last three cohorts will not be available for the upcoming intake.
However, to secure financial support, students are encouraged to reach out directly to their chosen universities to explore the options they may offer. Universities may have scholarships or other forms of financial assistance available.
Additionally, for self-funded students, there are often opportunities to work part-time to help cover living expenses. It may also be helpful to inquire whether universities have partnerships with local businesses or offer job placement services to assist in finding employment.
The list below features the awarding universities of the EUMaster4HPC programme, along with links to their study programmes, and information about their application periods.
Important note:
Politecnico di Milano, through its Master’s programme in HPC Engineering, participates in the Erasmus+ exchange programme offered by EUMaster4HPC universities. This initiative enables students enrolled at Politecnico di Milano to spend one semester abroad at a partner university, such as Unilu, FAU, Sorbonne, KTH, or UPC. Likewise, students from these partner universities can spend one semester at Politecnico di Milano.
During the exchange period, students will follow a specifically co-designed study path aligned with EUMaster4HPC standards and learning objectives. This ensures a rich academic experience and exposure to cutting-edge knowledge in HPC.
Please note that this exchange does not lead to a double degree. However, students will benefit from an international learning environment and the opportunity to collaborate with leading institutions in the field of HPC.
